Sports desk:  Pakistan's dreams were shattered by going to the final of the previous T20 World Cup. Now they are desperate to get success. That's why the country's cricket board (PCB) has announced huge monetary rewards to encourage the players.

Babar Bahini will fly tonight to play T20 series against Ireland and England. Earlier, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a meeting with the team for about two hours yesterday. After that, the board informed that if the upcoming T20 World Cup is won, each member of the Pakistan team will be given 1 lakh US dollars as a prize (more than 1 crore rupees in Bangladeshi currency).

Naqvi, however, said the prize money was nothing compared to winning the World Cup. However, his hope is that Babar will hoist Pakistan's flag in the World Cup. In the meeting, PCB chairman said to Babar, no need to worry; Success will come only if you play as a team and 'God willing'. Naqvi gave a message of hope about Shaheen Shah Afridi in the meeting. This left-handed pacer will do great things in this season, so hope the rest of the team.

During the meeting with the players, the PCB chairman presented special shirts to some of them as a reminder of achieving the milestone. Among them, wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan for completing 3000 runs in T20 and Naseem Shah for getting 100th T20 wicket was given a special shirt.

The 2024 T20 World Cup will begin on June 2. However, Pakistan's World Cup will begin on June 6, with a match against co-hosts USA. India, Canada and Ireland are in the same group with them.
