Mirza Fakhrul has returned home after performing Umrah Hajj in Saudi Arabia

News Desk:  BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has returned home after performing Umrah Hajj in Saudi Arabia. He arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Wednesday around 1.30 pm.

BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed this information.

Earlier yesterday, Mangalabar Shairul Kabir Khan said that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and his wife Rahat Ara Begum will reach Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier on May 2, Mirza Fakhrul reached Madinah by Bangladesh flight. BNP Secretary General and his wife Rahat Ara Begum visited Madinah on arrival of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) Rawaza Mubarak. BNP Secretary General offered Jumma Namaz at Masjid Nabbi on Friday. He completed the Umrah ceremony in Mecca, Saudi Arabia after Isha prayer on Saturday.

Makkah BNP President Abul Kalam Azad told the media that his wife Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir prayed for continued peace, prosperity and progress of the people of Bangladesh and the country as well as the entire Muslim Ummah after performing Umrah. BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman and other party leaders prayed for mercy from Allah Rabbul Alamin.
