All primary schools in the country are opening from Tuesday

News Desk:  All primary schools in the country are opening tomorrow from Tuesday. The announcement was made in a circular signed by Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin, senior information officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on Monday.  

The Ministry's press release informed that from tomorrow Tuesday, all activities including class activities of all government primary schools, primary schools of Shishu Kalyan Trust and non-formal education bureau learning centers will continue according to the calendar of the current academic year (2024).

All educational institutions were supposed to open on April 21 after the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday. However, on April 20, all schools, colleges, madrasas and technical educational institutions under the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education were declared holiday due to the severe heat wave. Then on April 28, all educational institutions were conditionally opened. The next day, the High Court ordered the closure of all primary, secondary and madrasa classes in the country. Later, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education announced the closure of primary schools across the country.
